This year, my New Year’s Eve has an address in Zakopane.
The mountains serve as the backdrop, silence as a point of reference, and time slows down just enough to catch a breath before turning the next page of the calendar.
This atmosphere encourages closing things without drama. Not everything needs to end with a bang—some matters simply stop being important when you stop feeding them with attention.
A new year doesn’t have to begin with big decisions. Sometimes it’s enough that something stays behind, and something else makes room to move forward.
So for the coming year, I wish everyone just one thing: less weight and more clarity. And that whatever comes next is one step closer to calm.
Happy New Year 2026!
